PC Beep for Low Battery Alert?

I have anXPS M1530.  I would like to set up my power settings so that when the battery is low I am alrted by PC Beep and not the standard WAV files that are present.  My old Inspiron did this as standard and it was very effective.  Currently I am frequently away from my machine and I never hear the WAV files properly even with the volume up high.

Things I have already tried are going into the power settings through Control Panel and also using Dell Quickset.  Neither provide the option that I am looking for.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks in advance...

If you could find out where the default low battery warning sound is stored (System32 folder?), it might be possible to replace it with one of your own choosing?
Here's a few articles on the subject, which you might find useful:

Hi Fireblade...  Thanks for the suggestions but most of them either involve the Sound option in Control Panel or using WAV files, both of which i have tried and found useless.  PC Beep is where its at, but i cant understand how its so har to find information about...

Thanks again...
