Which operating system are you using, and which specific card are you trying to install? Also, is it a CPiA, CPiD, or what, and do you have the most recent BIOS version for the unit installed?
I'm running Windows 98, and it has the original BIOS version (I think its A01). I'm going to update the BIOS after I post this. The card is a SMC8040TX PCMCIA Ethernet card - i'm not sure if its CPiA or CPiD.
