Depending on the system model, start by unplugging the system, removing the battery and holding the power button. Disconnect and reconnect the hard drive -- this ranges from very easy (most systems) to fiendishly difficult (N5110, etc.) -- if you need exact instructions, please provide the system model number.
If the drive is then seen, re-run the diagnostics.
If it's not, it's toast - it will need to be replaced.

It's affixed to the board with screws - but it sounds like the drive is toast and will need to be replaced.

The error shown in diagnostics is:
Msg: Hard Drive- No hard drive detected.

My system model is N5110. I tried to disconnect the hard drive but it is stuck to the motherboard. What should I do now ?
