Power cord problem - Crackling Noise and Burning Smell
There seems to be some issue with my power cord for inspiron 15R, sometimes i could hear a crackling noise and burning smell, when it is plugged in the AC power socket. Tried with different power sockets as well and got the same problem. My laptop is just six months old, can the power cord be replaced and will it be coming under the warranty?

Yes, it will be covered and by all means - you should NOT use in that condition until it is replaced.
