Problem with DELL BT Travel mouse
I recently purchased DELL inspiron 15R with DELL BT Travel mouse. Whenever I switch off/Restart my laptop the mouse is not getting detected. To make it work, i need to remove the mouse manually from the device& Printer option in control panel and search for the mouse again to pair it once again.
I googled and found a suggestion that 'no passkey' option should be taken off. But i could not find where the option reside.
Please help me out to fix this. It's bugging me like anything.

I do not know this for a fact but I believe that when "no passkey" is used, you just leave it blank.
When the Add Bluetooth Devices Wizard window appears, wait for a minimum of 20 seconds until Dell Travel Mouse with Bluetooth Technology appears in the list.
Select Dell Travel Mouse with Bluetooth Technology from the list and then click Next.
In the next page, check Don’t use a passkey, and click Next.
In the next page, click Finish to connect your computer to the mouse.

As soon as click I next button after selecting the mouse, i am landing in the screen that shows none other than Finish button. I don't find any window that asks for Passkey option. If you wish I can provide you the screen shot as well.
Thank you for your reply.

You might want to try and remove the Travel Mouse as a paired device and then try an pair it again using the above steps.

I also have the same problem, I paired it without passkey and with passkey and it doesn't work after reboot, shut down - turn on. It works after sleep or hybernate only and only if i do the following sequence: sleep/hybernate->power of the mouse->exit sleep/hybernate->switch the mouse on.
On the topic regarding the rebooting, it works for about 2 seconds before windows fully loads, to be more precise after the screen becomes blue due to windows loading, the mouse works, the second user-password appear the mouse stops working and you need to delete and pair again, which is very annoying and time consuming.
PS i have a DELL INSPIRON N7110

Have you got any solution or tried to contact customer care ??
When i contacted customer care, they asked to check the blue tooth connectivity with the know working device. I am yet to test that.

I even got a replacement mouse from DELL and problem is not resolved yet.I have gone through the user manual, as per Setting up your Dell BT Travel mouse Part 4 section of user manual, it does not ask the option for passkey. But still face the above mentioned issue.

We have 2 XPS13's w/ Dell BT Travel mice that have the same issue, keeps dropping the paring and need to delete and repair. These are 2 of our larger executives and they have more ordered and this will be a big issue with them unless Dell can shed some light on how to resolve this.

when you try to attach the device in the add device area when you see your mouse come up right click it go to properties in the services tab click the only check box so that theres a check in the box this should add your device so it works ;)
