Problem with Graphics and Video Card Drivers in Dell Inspiron 3521
I have a Dell Inspiron 3521 i3-3227U 1.90 GHz Win 8 64bit, with Video Cards as recognized:
a. Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000, and
b. AMD Radeon HD 7670M
Driver Version 8.982.6.0, 8-1-2012.
Suddenly, yesterday both cards indicate problem in Device Manager. Catalyst Control Center doesn't work at all, and Intel Graphic Control Center has disappeared.
Video Cards are recognized in system info through Dell Support Assist, but I can't run tests on them (the button disappeared) as I used before.
I ran system scan through Dell Support Assist (both default and stress) but showed no problem.
Through Dell Support (according to laptop's service tag) I downloaded and installed both recommended graphic drivers for my laptop (AMD Radeon HD 7670M version 8.982.6.0 ,A01, and AMD Radeon HD 8730M version 9.0.12.1 ,A03) with no result. I also found and installed the proper graphic drivers from AMD and Intel for my laptop (based on my video cards, cpu and OS) but no result also. Laptop warranty has expired.
Any suggestions to solve the problem? Thanks in advance.

You should not install Intel or AMD's drivers since the Dell drivers are customized for your exact model. Reinstall the original Dell drivers from Dell Downloads and Drivers. Run the Dell Diagnostics by tapping F12 as soon as you reboot to get to the Boot Menu. See if there is a problem with the hardware. The catalyst control center is for desktop computers with discrete cards. It is not a driver- it's software. Your AMD card is not a discrete card. It is a supplemental card that kicks in when more power is needed.
Dell drivers here-- use the scanner to check your computer--
www.dell.com/.../advanced
Laptops rarely--if ever--need driver updates like desktops. If there is an update it must come from Dell.

Thank for the reply.
I ran the Dell Diagnostics from the Boot Menu and didn't find any problem with the hardware.
Dell Support:
www.dell.com/.../drivers
has 2 recommended graphic drivers for my laptop:
a. AMD Radeon HD 7670M version 8.982.6.0 ,A01, file name Video_Driver_6097M_WN_8.982.6.0_A01.EXE, and
b. AMD Radeon HD 8730M version 9.0.12.1 ,A03) file name Video_Driver_VHY54_WN_9.0.12.1_A03.EXE. Can this one be the right driver for my laptop? (video cards as recognized are a. Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000, and b. AMD Radeon HD 7670M)
Anyway I downloaded and installed both of them (one at a time) and rebooted.
I had no result for both of them and in their log file said that driver installation failed.
Any more suggestions? Thanks in advance.
