Processor Upgrade

Question

I have a N5010 laptop with an i3 processor. I believe it is the M370. I am looking to upgrade the processor to an i7 is this possible and is there a specific one to get or will any of the i7's do?

Any answers are appreciated.

No, to the i7.  It will take first-generation Core i3 and i5 CPUs, though. en.community.dell.com/.../20430910.aspx

Inspiron N5010 / 15R ships with Intel Core i3 and Intel Core i5 processors type only.

Below are the processors which are compatioble with Inspiron N5010:

Intel Core i3-330M (2.13Ghz, 4Threads, 3M cache)
Intel Core i3-350M (2.26Ghz, 4Threads, 3M cache)
Intel Core i5-430M (2.26Ghz, 4Threads,3M cache, turbo boost up to 2.53 GHz)
Intel Core i5-520M (2.4GHz, 4 Threads,3M cache, turbo Boost up to 2.93GHz)
Intel Core i5-540M (2.53Ghz, 4 Thread,3M cache, turbo boost up to 3.06 GHz)
