Processor type question
Hello,
I just wish to confirm if I have a dual core processor/Intel Core 2.
Here's what my dxdiag.exe gave me for processor: "Genuine Intel(R) CPU T2400@ 1.83 GHz (2 CPU's)"
I also have a Intel Centrino Duo sticker on my laptop. So it is safe to say I have a dual core processor.
Ya, I got this laptop a long time ago; still looking around for component list. Thanks in advance. :emotion-1:

It is a dual core CPU (Core Duo) - but it does not have EM64T support (i.e., it's a 32-bit CPU, not 64 bit).
