Questions regarding 533MHz FSB, e1505

Background:  My e1505 is running on a 533 MHz FSB with a Core Solo processor (T1350), BIOS A08

Questions:
If I want to upgrade to a Core 2 Duo will it be limited to running at 533 MHz only or will the processor tell the mobo to crank up to 667 MHz?

When I run PC Wizard it shows my processor running at ~800 MHz when the processor is rated at 1.86 GHz.  What gives?  This is after I turn off throttling to the best of my knowledge and anything else I could find.  I have this computer plugged into the wall 95% of the time and would like its full potential to be realized.

Also, the proc runs at a constant 42C.  How is that for a laptop chip these days?

Basically, I want to upgrade my processor, RAM, and HD over the course of the next year and am a bit skeptical about whether or not I will be able to truly benefit from anything new I drop in this puppy.

Thanks in advance for any help.

You must have 667 mhz memory with a front side bus of 667 mhz to run at that speed.
