RAM Choices. Different Configuration. Which is better?

Okay guys. Here in my hands I have 2 identical pieces of ram sticks for my Dell D420 1. 1GB 2Rx8  PC2-4200S-444-12-F0...DDR2-533Mhz-CL4 2. 1GB 2Rx8  PC2-5300S-555-12-FO..DDR2-667Mhz-CL5   So, who can tell me the differences between the 2 compared pieces of Ram?? Obviously #2 would be the most beneficial choice to have installed  correct? Thanks guys!

Could I suggest you go to somewhere like orcalogic.co.uk or crucial.com and do a memory search?   They would be able to give you an idea as to what would be the correct ram to put it.   It's a suggestion.

the former, the memory speed on these old coreduos is just 533.
