Recovery Error
I bought my Inspiron 3520 almost a year back. Recently i ran "Refresh" to clean my pc. It only uninstalled all the files I installed, so next day i ran restore to factory setting to completly clean out my pc. I think something went wrong somewhere after that and it went to a blue screen 30 mins later or so ( It was loading or doing all stuff till then) the blue screen sayed "Recovery Your PC needs to be repaired - A required device isn't connected or can't be accessed -- Error code: 0x00000f -- you'll need to use the recovery tools on your installation media. If you don't have any installation media(like disc or USB device), contact your system administrator or PC manufacterer. -- Press Enter to try again -- Press F8 for startup settings -- Press Exc for UEFI Firmware settings. If i press enter or f8, it says File:\\Windows\system32\winload.efi. I do not have the recovery disk. I only got drivier and utility disc when i bought my system. I took it to best buy and they said i could download the recovery/repair software from microsoft and run it, but i dont know how. Please help... :(

Hi DellBegineer,
It is unfortunate that your computer is not booting to the desktop screen, you should have got the Windows 7 / 8 operating system disc which came along with the computer.
You can try performing a PC Restore by clicking on the link which has following steps.
http://dell.to/18XtIMt
And also please provide us the Service tag of your computer on a private message so we can check the computer and its order details and let you know what else has to be performed. To send a private message, click on my user name and select start conversation
Let us know if this helps
