Replacing and upgrading (?) processor on Dell Inspiron M5010
My processor just went bad on me in my 2010 Dell Inspiron M5010 laptop and I need to replace it and was considering an upgrade if that is a viable option. Here arw the specs for it: (I have the list of all components if you need further information)

The Dell Inspiron M5010 supports the below type of processors and can be upgraded from the current one which is AMD Athlon™ II Dual-Core (Part # 3JMPD)
AMD Turion II Dual-Core
AMD Phenom II Dual-Core
AMD Phenom II Triple-Core
AMD Phenom II Quad-Core
Hence you can go ahead and upgrade the processor to any one of these.
