Screen picture flipped 90 degrees??

Question

It's driving me mentally insane. I have an inspirion 1545 and some time ago something happend that makes my screen picture flip 90 degrees everytime I shut it down og flip down the lid. I cannot for the love of god find out how to remove this without acctually having to reset the computer to its condition it was as new. It is driving mentally out of my mind and I have stopped shutting it down other than to update it because of this. When the screen flips I have found that pressing F1 and then choosing to wide screen makes the screen flip back to normal mode. When pressing F1 you get four choices; projector, only procjector, duplicate and wide. how in gods green earth do I deactivate this thing with the screen flipping??

Schatziekiss,   Press and hold   Ctrl     Alt     Press the up arrow   This should bring the screen back to the normal position.     Rick

There is a rotation and monitor setting in control panel. Best Edit the post and remove the attempts to swear.

Dell Inspiron 1500 series running Win 10 Home Premium. The Ctl Alt Up Arrow works after I close the lid, but how do I make the orientation remain landscape permanently? Every time I login after the laptop sleeps, then close the lid to view my HDMI connected TV, the display rotates left 90 degrees.
