Security Update for Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package
Hi there,
I keep getting message to update this pack on my laptop N301Z, but when everytime when I try to download it always failed, and it affects me when shutdeon the computer. I am not sure what's for microsoft visual C++? can I uninstall it just to avoid this problem happening again and again?

Several things including video card drivers use this so I would say no you should not unistall it.
