Setup Windows 7 or windows XP on inspiron N4030
Hi My Friends,
I just purchased laptop dell Inspiron N4030 Core I5 yesterday with free dos, when I tried to setup windows 7 32bit on it I received a message say “can’t load device drivers”
I downloaded all windows 7 drivers from dell web site, extracted and copy it to USB memory, and tried to install it during windows Setup, but I also received an error message that ” drivers cannot be installed, call the vendor “.
I tried to Set up Windows XP to avoid this error, but when it start windows installation stage, blue screen appeared.
I tried to change SATA HD setting on the bios from AHCI to ATA, but it doesn’t succeeded.
Please if anybody have suggestions, advise me.
Best Regards
Timo

The order of installation must be followed for Windows 7.
support.dell.com/.../document
Windows XP will be a bigger challenge - and you'll likely wind up with only a partially-functioning system since some hardware likely won't have XP drivers.
