Strange noise coming from my memory (RAM)

Question

I have a dell Inspiron N5110 and the thing is there's like a buzzing noise, at first i didnt know where it came from

but then i noticed it came from the ram... and when in plug it in, the sound decreases a lot....

what could it be?

Hi Ulireyes,

Welcome to the Community. I suggest you run an extended diagnostics on your computer. Press the F12 key at the Dell logo on startup, select diagnostics, and run an extended diagnostics on your computer. Post back with error codes. I would also reseat the memory to see if that makes a difference. Below is the link to reseat memory.

Thanks for your help!

I tun the diagnostic and no error messages were shown, but i also took the memory off and put it back on..

now the sound is gone.. or at least isn,t so loud.. i can barely hear it.
