That did not work, I did get it working by the following
1. Reset TCP/IP -> netsh int ip reset (log is needed, ex. “C:\ResetIP.txt”) don't reboot
2: uninstall-“Client for Microsoft Networks”- reboot 2. Reinstall “Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)” -> Add protocol, click on “Have disk…” and browse to “C:\%WinDir%\inf\nettcpip.inf” *
3. Reinstall -> “Client for Microsoft Networks” add a Client afterwards, it will show in the list
Download THESE DRIVERS and save them to your desktop.
Make a system restore point.
Start, control panel, network, right click on Intel(R) WiFi Link 5300 AGN, left click uninstall. Tell it to remove the software and drivers.
Restart your computer. When the computer restarts, the new hardware wizard will look to install the drivers. If it doesn't install, then install using the drivers.

yfh21,
Make and model of your computer and operating system is helpful. 32-bit or 64-bit?
Can you run an ipconfig /all log and post it back here.

yfh21,
Download THESE DRIVERS and save them to your desktop.
Also try reading...
Installing My Wi-Fi Technology
There are links to other drivers if the ones listed above does not work.
Once it's installed, then you should be able to get in to change the TCP/IPv4 settings.
