Targus Power Adapter Compatibility

I recently purchased a Targus 65w power adapter (for AC and Airline use).  MY Latitude does not recognize this adapter and so will not charge the battery (even when in AC mode).
 
Is there a way I can configure the system to recognize this adapter?

No, but for some of the larger Dell Portables (90 watt) you cannot use 'airline power' on those DC Power supplies.

Your Targus will operate your system at a minimal processor speed, but not ever charge the battery, no way
around that fact.
