Unable to install Conexant Audio driver under Windows 10

Hello,

Since I upgraded to Windows 10, I can only use the default Microsoft "High Definition Audio Device" driver for my Dell Vostro 3460 notebook's integrated sound card. Every time I try to install the newest driver downloaded from dell, it fails to install the matching driver. I tried the easy setup wizard way to do so, and also the harder "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer" way and browsed in the Windows 10 x64 driver, but I only get the error message below. Since I'm forced to use the High Definition Audio Device driver, my laptop speakers sounds pretty bad and makes cracking noises even at a lover volume. When I used Windows 7 with the correct drivers, I never had such an issue.
Could someone please help me install the correct audio driver on my notebook?

My service tag is <ADMIN NOTE: Service tag removed per privacy policy>

, and I use Windows 10 Pro 64bit.

Tanks!

Hello ieee488,

Thank you for your help, but unfortunately this does not solve my problem. I've installed all those drivers in the given table that are above the audio driver and are available for my Vostro 3460, but still I'm unable to install the matching driver for my integrated sound card under windows 10. Have you got any other suggestion what shoul I try next to solve tis issue?

Thank you!
