I'm not real sure what you are wanting to do, but the first answer is..No, these are output only jacks.
Having said that, you can get an external USB adapter (many vendors such as Dazzle, ATI, Hauppage, etc) to allow video input (Composite,s-video, capture, RF (read cable or antenna inputs.)
Thanks, to answer your question of what I'm trying to do... I am planning on buying an Xbox 360, but I do not have an HDTV... so I was planning on hooking up the unit to my Laptop monitor (which I think can act as HD... not great HD but still HD)
SO, thanks for the help, I guess I will research the USB adapters
BUT
Do you think that the picture quality and framerate will work well with this monitor? Cuz I have a spare crappee LCD monitor, it's old but still LCD. Should I use that?
Thanks woot :smileyvery-happy:
EDIT: I researched my but off... I found S-Video to USB but that's
not HD (which is what i'm doing all of this for). I could find NOTHING on VGA (DB15HD) to USB
or Component Video to USB. I think that USB just simply
cannot support HD... So my conclusion is that HDvideo on a Laptop is next to impossible unless there is VGA input :smileysad:

Unless your old monitor is really toast, you will most likely have much better results going to that old monitor rather than going thru any apapter/translator to get on to the display of your monitor.
I agree with you completely, my old monitor isn't completely toast at all, I just didn't wanna put this one to waste... but it seems that i'm making more work than it's worth
