Hello, if i remember correctly, light is on when charging (green) and blinking when nearly charged or fully charged. The LED turns red when low battery warning is on, less than 5-10 percent.
I have NO battery light showing except when placed onto ac adapter with pretty low batt. Shows blue while charging. No amber or red before warning displayed on screen. Lights blue when ac adapter applied. Seems to go out when fully charged. Removed battery and replaced. When turned on PC with ac adapter in; light briefly flashed alternating colors with screen warning "battery not recognized".. this was transitory. All worked well and returned to status as described.
Previous contact with Dell support walked me through power management settings. Battery showed full charge and unit operational. They declared all OK. Can't be so. Thoughts?
