Vostro 3360 Camera Driver

Hello!

Vostro 3360

OS: Win8.1x64

I can't seem to find the webcam driver for the above laptop. I've attempted removing the device via device manager and rebooting but Windows is not automatically detecting or reinstalling it. To eliminate this from being hardware failure does anyone know where I might be able to find the driver so I can try manually install it?

Many thanks!

Search the Downloads for Webcam Central and install that. Sign into My Dell Downloads to get it.

Thanks. I wasn't able to sign into My Dell Downloads from the impacted Vostro or another PC using Chrome, Firefox and IE. I ended up using an Ubuntu live USB to confirm hardware fault as the camera is not detected there either.

Hi rosswb,

I would suggest you to update the BIOS. Please enter your service tag # on the link below, then download the BIOS from BIOS section onto the system and install it.

then download Webcam central software from the link below.

Also, please refer to the link below for troubleshooting webcam issues.

Please let me know if this helps.
