Windows Vista Studio 1537 Factory Restore nonexistent PLEASE HELP

I have spent far too long on trying to find out how to restore my computer to factory settings. I have been to every subsection of the Control panel, every startup option (pressing F8, F2, F12 on startup, etc.) and every Youtube video and none of them show how to find the Windows Vista 1537 Factory Restore option.

My computer is a slow wreck, and the worst investment of my entire life. It was at the time a $1,200 computer, and now it mysteriously shuts off instantly if I try to play ANY computer games. I need to completely reset my computer so it will be like new and get rid of all the unwanted junk and viruses on it. A virus is not responsible for a missing menu on the startup. I have backed up my wanted files on a flash drive and do not care about anything on the computer now. As eHow suggested for Windows Vista computers:

Restart your computer

Repetatively press F8 on startup until the menu pops up

Scroll down to "Repair Computer"             and here is where there is no "Repair Computer" setting. This is the main problem.

I have tried everything on that menu, all of which have no special setting to restore the computer to factory settings.

I have tried EVERYTHING on the startup menus, so if anybody has any hints or if I am missing something please let me know!

I need to know this so I can get my computer back!

Absolutely nowhere on my computer is there a reset function. The restore points on the system restore (to a specified date) do not exist. There is only one from the hour before I found the system restore. I really can't afford a new computer, because I had just gotten a $40,000 Cheve Silverado about a week ago and my credit card is going to be maxed for a good few months.

Back-up any documents or files you need first !!!!!!!

Shutdown and restart your computer. Keep pressing "F8" until you see the "Advanced Boot Options" menu. You must depress the keys before the Windows Logo screen appears. If you wait until after the screen appears and then press "F8", it's too late and you'll have to reboot the system and try again.

Navigate to the "Repair your computer" option

Select the appropriate language and click "Next".

Sign onto the system as an administrator. Without administrative privileges, you will be unable to perform the system restore.

Select "Dell Factory Image Restore" and click "Next".

Place a check in the check box next to the text that says "Yes, reformat hard drive and restore System Software to factory condition" and click "Next".

Click "Finish" to complete the process. This will reboot your computer.
