You choose which video chip is used by which application with the nVidia control panel. The Intel GPU will always show active because by design, all video data passes through it -- even if it's been processed by the nVidia GPU.
Your system doesn't have true dedicated nVidia video - the only physical connection to the display panel is through the Intel GPU, so you cannot disable that GPU.

Right ok so even when playing games it will show the Intel HD4000 as the the GPU even though I set the nVidia GPU to the default?
