thanks robert.

From the thread you posted, it seems that most of the people there were having problems with their 32bit operating systems, me however, am not using 32bit, but 64bit operting systems, which supposedly support more than 4G ram.

I'm pretty sure it's not (correct me if i'm wrong) the operating systems limitation, but rather the M1210 hardware limitation.

Am i right?

nycoagung Hey! I've a M1210 myself and I've installed 4GB of ram and I'm in the same boat. I think what the issue is that your OS allocates some parts of the ram memory for other devices like your video card. From what I've been reading I have not read any "fix" to it nor do I think it can be fixed. Personally, it does bother me a bit that I'm not able to utilize all of my ram, but then again, I don't really do anything that will ever require the amount of ram I put in to it. It may be a different story for you. Basically, it seems like you have to live with it or get a laptop that will utilize 4GB of ram.
