XPS M1330 9 Cell Battery question

I initially purchased my laptop with a 6 cell battery. My battery is about to die, that's why I want to purchase a 9 cell battery.

My question is whether the 9 cell battery would fit properly in my laptop or not? There are two rubber foot (dono wht is the actual term) towards the back side ofthe laptop.

One is attached to the battery and another is fixed. The 9 cell battery has an extended part that will go across the back portion (appears like that in the picture).

Will the non-removable rubber cause any problem while fitting the battery?

Also my laptop came with a 90W charger. According to this post (Charger Compatibility) the user had problem with 90W charger while charging a 9 cell battery.

Do I need to purchase another adapter for 9 Cell battery or my existing 90W adapter should work fine?

I am sure that the 9 cell battery would not fit properly with your laptop.

You should buy the replacement battery which the same as the original battery.

The 9 cell is fine. Because of the size, the battery is deeper than the 6 cell, and sticks out the back somewhat and the back of the laptop is raised. The extension is just a support for the opposite side of the back to give stability. The 90 watt charger will work fine.
