XPS M1330 NVIDIA 8400 GS

Question

From what i know this GPu is capable of using sytem ram if required, especially in windows Vista and Windows 7. Windiws Vista, Windiws 7 32 and 64 bit versions tell me that my nVIDIA card has 128 MB of RAM Windows XP Pro 64 Bit recognizes the card as having 256 MB of RAM i got those details by running 'dxdiag'. Obviously i didn't believe it when i saw it and ran a system hardware test on this website: http://www.yougamers.com/gameometer/10287/ when i ran the test in windows vista 32 and 64 bit, the results were that my video card had 128MB or RAM and could not play that game listed. Now with the windows XP 64 bit it says that my system has an nvidia card with 256 MB ram. No tweaking of any kind has been performed. Any thoughts on that?

Welcome to the forums :emotion-21:     It's definitely just a 128MB Nvidia 8400M GS.   It'll be showing as 256MB when it's using system RAM :emotion-55:
