XPS M1330 bad Bluetooth connection with Logitech headset, Crackling noise
When using my Bluetooth Logitech HS03 V04 headset with my new Dell XPS M1330 laptop, the connection is very poor. I hear a crackling noise on the headphone and there's also noise on the microphone. If I'm very close to the computer (<2 feet), quality gets better. Turning my head, the noise gets terrible.
I updated to latest Dell drivers and re-installed bluetooth. Still the same problem. Using the headset with my cellphone, qualtiy is perfect. It also worked fine with my old XPS M1220.
I disabled my Wireless card and there are no other sending devices (Routers etc) around.
Any idea how to fix this?

Progress, but still not OK. After searching through a couple of message boards i finally downloaded and installed a new WIDComm version 6.0.1.4900 that i found on the lenovo download page (http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?lndocid=MIGR-67064#bluetooth) Seems like Dell's hiding the latest drivers from us :-( Other useres hit by the same problems (also Bluescreens with Skype) wrote, their problems were fixed by updating to a newer WIDComm. So i did. And... the headphone's speaker is clear now, but the microphone is still hit by a lot of noise and crackling. Dell support told me to run through the whole diagnostics thing, remove and re-install the Bluetooth card or try to reinstall Vista. Lot's of suggestions that cost me a lot of time! I'll do my best.... Any out there hit by the same problems?
