XPS l502x won't boot into Windows 7

I was working the other night when the computer forced a restart like it was updating. It restarted and after post stuck on a blinking black cursor. I've run the entire diagnostic suite and all tests were passed, tried windows 7 startup repair and multiple system restore points(the later system restores errored out). I no longer have access to a win 7 disk and am fresh out of ideas.

help, please?

Hi OrionImprisoned ,

Welcome to the community.

I am really sorry to hear about the issue.I would like to inform you that we have a inbuilt diagnostics which you can run by    pressing F8 button on the Dell logo, choose diagnostics menu and it will start with the diagnostic test. If this test pass then there is no hardware issue.

Also try to switch on the system in safe mode and see if it boots up.

If the tests pass and it doesn't boot in safe mode then we need to go for restoration options.

Please run this test once again and let me know.

If the system boots up in safe mode with networking also try to run the diagnostic according to the below link.

Please read the post. Can't get into windows. Also, I have run the built in diagnostics by pressing F12 and then running through the diagnostic there. Then running the diagnostics in the thing that starts up after that with the symptom tree. Hardrive checked out fine, system board checked out fine, memory checked out fine.

Hi OrionImprisoned,

Thanks for the reply. If all the tests have passed , in that case restoring it to the default settings from the media can resolve the issue. Please add me as a friend by right clicking on my name and send me the Service tag and the name of the system owner as a Personal Message.

Please do not post the above mentioned details in the forum.

Once I do the initial check we can help you out with the cds.
