charging won't pass 72%
I am having an Inspiron 15 and using windows 8 on it. From last 3 days, i am facing the problem of battery , that is not getting charged more than 72%. It shows "72% available, plugged in, not charging".
Anyone is there, who can help me through this??

Hi Minnie153,
Thanks for posting.
Apologies that your computer is not working the way you wanted. A couple of questions come to mind here.
Batteries normally last only a year or 18 months, so your battery could be going bad, and you may need to purchase a new one soon. So, check to see how old your battery is.
Next thing to check is to see that the charger is plugged in and functioning. Can you run the computer on the charger without the battery installed? If not, the charger may need to be replaced, if your system is still under warranty, contact Tech Support in your country and troubleshoot with them.
The third thing that could be happening is that the charging port or motherboard may need replacing, constant pulling in and out of the cord can cause problems with either the port or the board, again, please contact Tech Support for more troubleshooting.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Robert

Thanks Robert-P for helping.
I appreciate your response.
My laptop's battery is just of 1 year.
And I think that my charger is all good.. because it does charge the battery but only till 72%. and even before it goes to 72%, it does shows plugged in, charging.
