Repeated crashes (MBR / Partition table / filestructure) can be caused by SATA-I and II compatibility issue's.
The hard disk is not damaged, only the partition / file structure is messed up badly.
It's not uncommon for newer SATA-II hard disks to have protocol issue's with older SATA-I controller hardware.
The solution is to force the SATA-II (3.0 Gb/s) into SATA-I (1.5 Gb/s) mode either setting a jumper on the hard disk or a software tool from the hard disk manufacturer.
What's the brand / type of the hard disk installed?

Seems like you have Fijitsu Hornet M250 Sata-II harddisk.
For support on this disk: http://www.fujitsu.com/global/services/computing/storage/hdd/ however it reads:
"Fujitsu Limited has transferred its hard disk drive (HDD) business to Toshiba Corporation on October 1st, 2009"
However tools are still there:
http://www.fujitsu.com/us/services/computing/storage/hdd/support/utilities.html
The tool to set SATA-II to SATA-I seems to be the UDMA utility section.
Best is to get some local tech help here to set the UDMA speed to SATA-I
You need to figure out what's the extact type of the drive to determine the UDMA tool (there are 2)
Good luck!
