dell inspiron 1564 cpu socket

Question

do you guys know what is the right cpu socket of this laptop? my laptop is dell inspiron 1564 i3-330m. i tried to use pc wizard to detect my cpu socket, the details show that my cpu socket is LGA1156... which is a desktop socket. kinda weird having a desktop socket in a laptop mobo.   i'm planning to upgrade my cpu to i7-640m. so before i buy the mobile processor i want to make sure if its BGA or rPGA. cuz i highly doubt that its LGA. desktop processors can't work with HM55 chipsets.

They're pin-grid (PGA).  Ball-grid CPUs are soldered to the system board.  They're PGA-988 CPUs (not 1156).
