dell inspiron n5110 won't startup

i have a dell inspiron 15r n5110 and when i press the power button it won't boot up. when is turn of and plug in power with battery is showing me that battery is charging and that is receiving energy. the only led light is on is the led indicator of the battery charging. is there a problem with my power button?
