Hi aayushenator,
As you have isolated the cause of the blue screen error then, you should try re-installing the software to resolve this issue.
Please remove the software from the system and then re-install it to check if it resolves the issue. Also, before installing please ensure that version is compatible with the Windows you have on the system.
If you have any further queries, please feel free to contact us.
Thanks and Regards

Thanks for the reply, Sandeep.
I already tried re-installing the software. I even tried previous as well as updated versions of the software and also updated the wireless drivers (Intel PROSet/Wireless). Nothing worked. I still get the BSOD.

Hi aayushenator,
Apologies for the delayed reply. Please let us know once the utorrent is removed from the system BSOD doesn't occur.
Also, please ensure you have all the drivers updated on the system and if you have any firewall installed then remove the same for diagnosis.
You can also check this link below which would be useful in resolving this issue:

Hi Sandeep,
Thanks again for the help.
The BSOD doesn't occur when utorrent is not running. So probably it will not occur when utorrent is removed.
Also, i have McAfee Antivirus installed. Someone in the link does talk about the BSOD occurring with McAfee installed but no solution is mentioned.

Hi aayushenator,
Thanks for your reply. Kindly remove the Mcafee software from the system and then run utorrent to check if the blue screen error still occurs on the system.
Also, let us know if you have any other security software running on the system. If you have any further queries feel free to reply to us.
