drivers for the wxga display

Question

I have an inspiron 6000 with the 15.4 display, but I can't find the driver, windows xp uses the default monitor driver, and it seems impossible to find it.

the list of possible drivers on the inspiron 6000 display driver list is like 15 entries long, am i supposed to probe all this drivers or what ?

The video driver is the only one you need. The internal display panel itself needs no driver.

I mean the monitor, I only know it is a wxga lcd monitor

the in-built windows driver is the only one you need for your laptop lcd screen. the drivers posted on the dell site are for external monitors.
