I have the same problem with touchpad whenever my laptop is connected to an older version projector. I tried it to new ones and it works quite well. I guess that's the main point.

Same issue here.

Our company just purchased 30 laptops for field employees and when connected to a printer or inverter the touchpad goes haywire.  It has somewhat helped when we disabled "tap to click" in the touchpad settings.  Or at least it made it where the pointer does not jump around the screen.  There is still a slight lag in the pointer movement, however it is more stable though not 100%.

I'm having a very similar issue with two Dell Latitude laptops - Both new and both having touchpad issues connecting to external projectors.  Is there a BIOS fix or similar for these, or has anyone had to contact Dell Support for advice?

thanks in advance
