Regarding the NO POST problems those are the same specified here : en.community.dell.com/.../19483781.aspx - well this part " boots to a blank screen with power lights on and fan running.  Pressing the power button shuts it down. " is same as mine.

Reading this forum found another problem my laptop has ( had no idea about it to be fair )

went into Intel rapid storage technology software and couldn't find the Accelerate tab. I looked in the Bios and under sata I have only two options, (Sata, AHCI). the Bios help suggests that there should be a thrid Intel option to select in order to enable the hard drive and msata drive for caching.

Has anyone got it to show up in the Bios? Would I need to re-install Windows 8?

also this ( en.community.dell.com/.../19455285.aspx ) which i didn`t offered any importance at all so far.

for god sake it`s a brand new laptop, it should be working like a charm...any help would be appreciated.

or at least tell me if it is a hardware problem or it`s something i can do as a user from home.
