memory compare error
i own dell inspiron 1525
Intel core 2 duo T5550 @1.83Ghz 1.83Ghz
Memory Ram= 2.00GB
System type = 32 bit operating system
OS windows vista home premiun
Recently i ran memory test , the result was
MATS test failed
Testing 7F55D00h bytes with 02hCPU(s)
memory compare error
Please help me to fix this problem..........

Try reseating your memory modules and then retry the diagnostics. The memory modules are easy to clip in and out, refer to the Service Manual for full instructions.
First try removing them and then reinserting them in case it is a contact issue. If that doesn't solve the problem remove one module and test with the other, see if the error test occurs with a specific module and you can identify it as being bad. Note test for the slots also.
If a module is bad you may need to buy new Memory modules, you can get these from Crucial here, get the 4 GB kit (2×2 GB).
