monitor not centered
Sorry if I am not asking this in the correct category, but I am not very technical. My monitor seems to have the picture moved way to the left. I tried adjusting via OSD, but can't get the up and down arrows to highlight the correct function. At least I think that is what I need to do to adjust the monitor picture. Any suggestions? Anyone understand what I just asked? Thanks, marenellie

right-click on desktop > properties > settings tab > there is a slider in this window to adjust the resolution. Make sure that you set it to your native resolution.

Are you talking about the LCD on an Inspiron notebook, or about a regular computer monitor?
If you're talking about a regular monitor, you may be better off posting on the Dimension - Monitor boards:
http://forums.us.dell.com/supportforums/board?board.id=dim_monitor , since this is a notebook forum.
