opu test fail code 2000-0147 . . .
wierd thing is that the device operates, and successfully was used to reinstall my new hard drives . . .
what is going on ???
it is an inspiron 1720, and seems to be working better than ever with two (2) new memory modules, a replacement hdd and a secondary hdd . . .

retested with ms office cd rom in the drive . . .
passed the test !!!

Thank you for your timely reply . . .
I think we are there - but I had some memory and hdd issues earlier that burned about 5 weeks of time . . .
so, i'm a little paranoid about other things going wrong with it . . .
