Hi lance,

You will be able to change the Power button action on the computer.. Please follow the steps mentioned below to change it on Windows computer.

  1. Click on the Start button and open the Control Panel.
  2. Once in the Control Panel, change your view to either large icons or Small icons. Look for and click on the Power Options setting.
  3. Select ‘Balanced’ and click on ‘Change plan settings’.
  4. Click on ‘Change advanced power settings’.
  5. On ‘Advanced settings’ click on ‘+’ sign beside ‘Power Buttons and lids’
  6. Click on ‘+’ ‘Power Button action’.
  7. Click on ‘+’ ‘On Battery’ and ‘Plugged in’.
  8. Choose the appropriate options.
  9. Click on ‘Apply’ and ‘Ok’
  10. Restart the computer and check for the issue resolution.

Please let me know if this helps.
