"Bad Command or Filename" Message When Trying to Update BIOS Splash

Hello there, I am trying to add my own picture for the Splash screen on my 600m.  I have downlaoded a utility to boot from a USB drive, and can get to a c: prompt, but when I type in splash new.bmp (new.bmp is the file name I placed on the usb drive) I get the "bad command or filename" error.  The .bmp I am trying to use is 640x480 and 16-color and I've tried a variety of other sizes thinking the file may have been too big.  Please help!

Actually, I figured it out just as I got this response.  What i needed to do was make a floppy disc with the Dell utility that is provided for download, then copy and paste the resulting files on the floppy to my usb jump drive, which needed to be previously formatted to be used as a boot up disc.  When I did all this, and rebooted to the usb drive I was set.

Anyone reading this in the future that needs help with this, email me.

you'll have to change directory from C: as the splashscreen exe is on the usb memory key not the hdd.
