You can reset the power settings back to default. Please go to the Power Management from the Control Panel. Please select the Power Option to Dell or Recommended and click RESET to reset it back to defaults and that shall work for you.
You can also try to restore the system back to a previous date when it was working fine from System Restore option. Please remember that all the software or applications installed after the restore date will be removed from the system but the data will be safe.
If that still does not work, please update the BIOS of the system. For this open the below link and enter the Service tag for your system and download and install the BIOS.
