screen static and system freeze
I bought an Inspiron 15R back in August of 2011 and a few weeks after I started using it, I encountered this problem where the system freezes up due to the screen becoming distorted with static lines. Also if there is any audio playing, it becomes a high pitched monotone ring. I have to manually power off when this occurs. This happens randomly, sometimes 3 times a day and other times not for a week. It also doesn't seem to be connected to any specific applications, since I've had it happen when I'm in Word, on the internet, on the windows login screen and even during the screensaver.
I've had the system restored, and the hard drive replaced, but to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Here are some pictures of the problem:

I am encountering the same problem with my 17 months old inspiron 15R. The problem started about 3 months ago with one or two freezes a week but now the condition has become worse as the freeze up is quite frequent now. I updated my drivers and did a thorough virus scan but none of them helped.
There are a few peculiar things about the freeze up, i think this error is triggered by movement of the laptop as most of the time my laptop freezes with static when i adjust my screen or shift my laptop.
I updated the dell support center and ran a full PC scan and the result failed with ''RTC Accuracy Test'' error code- WSB01-HS0.
