scrollbar not working

Welcome to the Community. Please mention your system model number, when posting on the forum. You may want to uninstall your touchpad driver and reinstall it. To uninstall, click on start, right click on computer, click on properties, click on device manager, click on the symbol next to pointing devices, right click on the Touchpad Driver ( Dell/Alps/Synaptics ) and click on uninstall, click ok to confirm.

Once its removed Do Not restart the computer, log on to support.dell.com, click on home users, click on drivers and downloads, enter your service tag, or select the system model, download and install the touchpad driver under Input. Restart your computer.

To enable scroll, click on start, control panel, mouse, click on the Touchpad Image ( it will take some time to appear ), under Scroll & Zoom, make sure Scrolling is enabled.
