servise tag not supported

It's better to say exactly--what software, what model computer and operating system and where you are trying to download--Download and Drivers or My Dell Downloads? You must use Internet Explorer for My Dell Downloads. You can also run into problems with unrecognized tag if you are not in the US. You don't need your tag for Downloads and Drivers. Just use your model computer and actual hardware installed on your system.

      thanks for your reply, what i would like to download is Download Factory Installed Software (My Dell Downloads)

      and my model number is Inspiron 15R N5110  windows 7 64bit

I understand your concern and recommend you to follow these steps to register your system for My Dell Download or to register your computer on dell website.

For My Dell Download: -  http://bit.ly/tkMC8H.   Please make sure you use IE(Internet Explorer) to register.

To register or transfer ownership:-  http://dell.to/7d5R3A .  On Left hand side choose right Option Under warranty information tag to register your details. Please make sure you use IE to register.

If it does not work or you get same error then please reset IE. To reset IE

1. On IE window go to tools- internet options – Reset – Reset.  You won’t lose favorite but home page need to setup again.

Then again repeat the same step after resetting IE.
