some keys not working on keyboard

hello,

I have issue about my 15 7537's keyboard. b n . space left down right and 2 are not working.I tried something like remove battery and hold the start button 15-20 seconds or remove the keyboard but nothing changed. Please give me some advice.

When did the issue start? Was there any liquid spillage incident lately?

Please try an external keyboard and observe if all the keys work.

As you have tried a power cycle and also Re-seated the keyboard, there is nothing much we can try now, except on an external keyboard.

If all the keys work on an external then its a problem with internal keyboard.

Hello Dell-Hema,

There was no liquid spillage or pushing hard to keys. I was watching tv series on my laptop and pressed the space key for stop video. But it did not. Then i understood some keys not working. İ do not have external keyboard therefore i did not try.

Whatever i send it to service. Thank you for your respond.

Nice to hear from you.

The issue could be with the motherboard or with the keyboard. If the machine is running on windows 7 you can check the keyboard in safemode, also try on different platforms, as in ;; notepad, word, emails .

Hi DELL-HEMA, I already  send my laptop to service. They said problem is about keyboard. They ordered a new keyboard. I am waiting them.
