unknown panel in BIOS
Hi,
my lcd-panel doesn't show up anything, I can't even switch from my extern tft to my notebook-display. I found the information in my BIOS that the panel is unknown. I tryed the Fn keys but it didn't worked. How can I fix it or get my notebook-display work again? Should I reset my BIOS?
Thanks for your help.

If it is working correctly on and external monitor, and the Fn+F8 combination will not switch the desktop to the LCD, then likely the backlight has gone out. If your system is still under warranty, please contact Technical Support.

Is tryed a BIOS update and the only effect I can see is that my notebook-lcd is flashing for about a second when the update is finished.
Is there any other thing I can do? Do you know how much this would cost?

If you gotta do it, www.lcds4less.com will get you an assembly for $5xx bucks, and I think free assembly (at the time of my job). It's worth a look if you run out of options.
