usb host to host bridge for data transfer
dell inspiron 6400 model mm061. i got a "maxxtro usb network cable" and tried to transfer data between my old desktop and my laptop. installed "maxxtro pc link" (uau 211) and "superlink" (usb_2_link_and_network_drivers) to no avail. the "device manager" "other devices" device "usb host to host bridge" remained yellow flagged. the "maxxtro pc link" says, "the remote connection doesn't exist. open the remote machine window anyway?", and the "superlink" says, "device not loaded!"
windows update cannot install this hardware, when trying to update the driver.

never heard of them
I have a Kensington Media Sharing Cable and use it between my Dell Lattitude 110L laptop and my Dell Dimension B110 desktop without any problems. It's only flaw is that the date sorting doesn't work. I bought it on sale for $15.
