Hi, I have not personally tried these suggestions (and it is not endorsed by Dell), but this link looks to have some decent ones. Also on the Logitech software, was this sold with another camera? This is a bit out of scope for my support, but was just curious in case I was missing something.

Let me know if any of these work.

Best regards,

Brad

Hi Brad,

Thanks for answering, I will check out the link, thanks for that. The Logitech software did come with a Logitech camera.  I can use the Logitech usb camera and software but it defeats the object of having a built in camera.

Right, that's what I was thinking on the Logitech software, it is most likely looking only for their cameras. I hope you have success with this!

Best regards,

Brad

hewlas,

Did you try installing this software also known as Dell Webcam Central Version 1.40.05?

It works with many operating systems.

Try Debut video capture it will work with your Logitech (or non-Logitech webcam) and will allow you to record video and audio. Take the free version (for non-commercial use):
